Wow little miss...we are officially in the third trimester now! I can't believe how fast the time has gone. Let Mommy apologize about this week's picture...non-maternity clothes are not a good idea on photo day for sure. In my defense, this is the shirt I wore under my scrubs that day...but we know how Mimi feels about those purple scrubs. :-) Anyway, we had another great week. You are so active, and it's so much fun to feel/watch you move. Daddy and I still get so excited every single time! We saw Dr. Cortez this week, and everything looked great. Your little heart was pitter-pattering away in the 150s...you did not like that doppler probe though. We start going every two weeks now...so we will get to hear you again very soon! Also, we will have another ultrasound between 30 and 32 weeks to determine if you are still breech...Mommy thinks you are, and that's ok. Dr. Cortez may have mildly suggested that sometimes babies who have anxious Mommy's are breech, I'm still trying to figure out why she told this to me. Haha!
Your nursery is so close to being finished as far as the decorating goes, and it is so sweet and peaceful. Daddy and I can't wait to show it to everyone this weekend at your shower. It is far from being well stocked, but we will be working on that! Mimi and grandpa will be here too, and they are so excited to see how much you/we've grown!
Mommy has been feeling super emotional these days. I am super happy, but I start feeling gloomy really easily. Poor Daddy has not had a fun week dealing with me, guess I'm just preparing him for all of the estrogen he will be dealing with once there are two of us for him to live with. :-) We are both so excited about every aspect of you, that it is hard to stay anything but elated for more than a short time. You bring us such joy already!
Keep up the good work. Mommy will tell you all about your shower next time...it's your first party!
