The weeks are flying by...it's going to be Christmas before we know it! Haha! Unfortunately there is a bunch of hot weather between now and then. We've had a good week with the little one. She went to the pediatrician for her 4 month check up...she weighed 12.5 pounds (I was just guessing when I put that last week...man, I'm good), grew 3 inches in length, and her head grew a whole inch. Praise the Lord! She is healthy and happy, and therefore so are we! She still hates her car seat with a passion. We went to Target to pick up some medicine on Wednesday, and she cried on/off the whole way there...so bittersweet because we still kind of love to hear her cry. Poor kid! Then I fell walking out of Target, so needless to say...we are staying away from there for a little while. :-)
We went to the NICU reunion yesterday afternoon and got to see some of the people who took care of us 4 whole months ago. Margaret looked super cute in her "Class of 2012" onesie...I will put pictures up once I get them on the computer. We spent the night in Fort Worth last night because she had an appointment to be fitted for ankle braces this afternoon. It was so nice to have a mini vaca. We all slept SO good! We went to dinner with a precious family last night, and it was such a blessing to visit with them! We are so amazed at all of the wonderful people God has placed on this new path with Margaret!
So, for this week:
Please pray for continued healing for Margaret, and that the seizures stay away (it's been over a week since the last shot). She has come so far, and we know God has his hand on her. We want her brain, body, and entire being to grow, heal, and develop so that she can be the baby, kid, and woman that God intends. She is already so amazing, and we are so thankful to get to watch her grow and develop in the eyes of the Lord!
P.S. - We are so thankful to those of you who read and pray, please know that you are truly making a difference in our life....we couldn't do it without you! :-)
